With over twenty years of experience, Lisa produces polished materials that engage the reader.  She specializes in listening, and this helps her deliver writing that reaches people, she's been told, in interesting and imaginative ways. As a science writer, her subject specialties include natural and cultural history; earth sciences; environmental issues; health and wellness; and explaining and interpreting cutting edge research for general audiences. Her science interpretation has appeared all over the place, reaching many locales she would like to visit some day.  A member of the National Association of Science Writers, Lisa seeks the best ways to communicate and share what she learns with others. She thrives on getting the word out. And while media and platform options will continue to change, Lisa understands that people need good stories.

In addition to writing and editing services, Lisa can select and curate images and other visuals to accompany text. Working with web designers, graphic/layout artists, and others, Lisa enjoys the creation process that leads to the delivery of projects that work.
